– Description: Through this initiative, Caritas Albania, in collaboration with the Global Albanians Foundation was able to provide 25 families in need who were affected by the earthquake with bedding sets. Each family was furnished with mattresses, pillows, sheets, and blankets. Caritas Albania chose to support families with bedding because of the high cost of bedding supplies in Albania (especially those suitable for winter), and because many other organizations were already focussing on housing and hygiene. Each family received approximately $400 of bedding supplies.
